Compassionate Caregiver (TBI Experience)

We are seeking a compassionate, dependable In-Home Caregiver with experience supporting individuals with brain injuries. This role focuses on providing personalized, one-on-one care in a home setting while promoting safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

Responsibilities

As an In-Home Caregiver, you will:

• Provide companionship and meaningful social engagement

• Support clients with brain injury–related needs, including cognitive, behavioral, and mobility challenges

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed

• Help with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders

• Follow individualized care plans and safety protocols

• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and care team members

• Deliver reliable, punctual care during scheduled shifts

Qualifications

• Previous experience caring for individuals with brain injuries (required)

• Understanding of cognitive impairments, memory loss, emotional regulation, or behavioral changes

• Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

• Ability to remain calm and attentive in challenging situations

• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance

• Ability to pass background checks and required screenings

• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
