Compassionate Caregiver/Personal Assistant

Job description

We are looking for a compassionate Caregiver to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in accordance with an established Support Plan. We provide a variety of non-medical services that allow disabled persons to remain in their homes.

Responsibilities for a provider is to assist individuals in their homes with activities of daily living while also assisting to meet their goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Complete daily living skills
• Attend medical appointments
• Participate in community outings
• Assistance with bed bath
• Toileting
• Dressing
• Hygiene and Light housekeeping
• Cooking
• Shopping
• Observation
• Documentation

Skills

• Caring and compassionate personality
• One year of experience
• High school degree
• Current CPR certificate (MUST be from American Heart Association, American Red Cross and American Safety & Health Institute ONLY)
• First Aid training
• Valid driver’s license

Requirements: High School Diploma, driver’s License, background, one year of caregiving experience.

Job Type: Part-time 11 AM- 6:30 PM Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. (1 caregiver)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $17 per hour

Schedule:

• 6 hour shift
• On call
• Weekends

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Level 2 background (Required)
• CPR/First Aid (Required)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Preferred)
