Wheelchair Accessibility Driver

Battle Buddy Mobility Transport, LLC provides safe and reliable transportation for people who may need ambulatory assistance and wheelchair transport. We provide through door to through door service. Our caring drivers will ensure that our clients are transported to and from medical services to hospitals, dialysis centers, doctor’s appointments, rehabilitation, and much more.

Duties:

· Drive a minivan safely to and from destinations

· Maintain a clean and fueled vehicle

· Strap and secure wheelchairs into the vehicle

· Transport patient according to assigned route

· Maintain documentation on vehicle condition

· Communicate with management, client, and medical staff

· Comply with HIPPA regulations

· Comply with MDOT regulations

· Maintain a safe environment for clients

· Train first shift in Battle Creek, MI for two to six weeks

· Attend quarterly training in Battle Creek, MI

· Take care of take-home company provided vehicle that must be returned to Battle Creek, MI every other weekend for maintenance

· Must be able to park take-home vehicle in a legal parking spot (away from overhead trees and power lines)

Requirements:

· Must have a valid driver's license

· Must be at least 25 years of age with 5 years of driving experience

· Must be willing to obtain a Chauffeur’s license – will help obtain

· Must be willing to obtain CPR Certification – will provide training

· Must be compassionate, professional, and reliable

· Must be able to pass criminal background checks and drug test

Offered:

· 40+ hours per week
