Compensation Analyst

For more than 50 years, Photronics has been a global leader in photomask technology, powering the innovation behind the world’s most advanced devices. Our success is built on collaboration, quality, and the dedication of our people.

We are hiring a Compensation Analyst who will support the build out and enhancement of our global compensation framework. This role mixes hands-on analysis with program development, cross-functional partnership, and accountability for delivering accurate, data-driven compensation decisions. You’ll be instrumental in benchmarking base pay structures, documenting processes, and implementing compensation practices that support global business needs.

This is not a “report runner” role. We’re looking for someone who checks their numbers twice, understands the story behind the data, and is comfortable being accountable for accuracy and outcomes.

Location: Photronics: Brookfield, CT. This is an on-site position, and we are not open to remote candidates at this time.

Responsibilities:

Global Compensation Program Support

  • Support the design, implementation, and ongoing administration of global base salary structures, job architecture, and pay practices.

  • Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking using survey data and external sources to inform pay decisions and structure adjustments.

  • Participate in job evaluations and leveling exercises; contribute to the development and maintenance of a universal global grade structure.

  • Partner with HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to provide data-driven compensation guidance for new hires, promotions, transfers, and off-cycle adjustments.

  • Support annual compensation planning processes, including merit cycles, promotion increases, and bonus modeling.

Stock Plan Administration Support

  • Provide analytical and administrative support for equity programs, including RSUs, stock options, and ESPP.

  • Assist with grant processing, vesting analysis, award tracking, and reporting.

  • Support data validation and reconciliation between HRIS, payroll, and equity administration platforms.

  • Partner with Finance and Legal to ensure accurate equity reporting, compliance, and documentation.

  • Generate reporting for leadership and audit purposes related to outstanding awards, burn rates, and program utilization.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain compensation dashboards, reports, and workforce analytics to support strategic decision-making.

  • Perform pay equity and internal alignment analyses; identify trends and provide recommendations.

  • Conduct modeling and scenario analysis for compensation programs, incentive designs, and structural changes.

  • Own data accuracy by validating inputs, reconciling discrepancies, and ensure reporting integrity across systems.

  • Support ad-hoc analytics requests from senior leadership with clear, concise deliverables.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Demonstrated accountability for data accuracy and analytical precision (strong attention to detail is non-negotiable).

  • Experience with salary survey tools and compensation benchmarking methodologies.

  • Exposure to stock plan administration and equity reporting preferred.

  • Experience contributing to or developing a universal grade structure or job leveling framework is a plus.

  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into practical recommendations.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of direct compensation experience, ideally within a global or publicly traded organization.
