Description

As a Compensation Analyst, you will play a strategic role in shaping our total rewards philosophy for a complex, national workforce. You will lead market analysis initiatives, drive compensation program design, ensure pay equity and partner with senior leadership to align compensation strategy with business growth.

Essential Functions

  • Lead comprehensive compensation and benefits market benchmarking studies; extract actionable insights and present to senior leadership.
  • Develop, implement and monitor compensation strategies — base pay, variable incentives, long-term incentives, and job leveling frameworks.
  • Conduct pay-equity and gender-/race-based compensation analyses; propose adjustments and remediation strategies.
  • Design compensation programs for new business initiatives, acquisitions, restructuring or new job families.
  • Partner with finance and business units to model compensation budget and forecast long-term impacts of compensation decisions.
  • Own compensation policy development and ensure compliance with multi-jurisdiction regulations.
  • Drive data-visualization/reporting of compensation analytics and create executive-level dashboards.
  • Performs activities to review, configure, test, and implement a compensation administration system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related discipline; master’s degree preferred.
  • 5-8+ years of progressive experience in total rewards/compensation ideally in a global or highly regulated environment.
  • Advanced analytical skills (Excel, statistical tools, HRIS, BI).
  • Strong presentation, influencing and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Deep knowledge of compensation frameworks, job evaluation methodologies, internal/external benchmarking, pay equity and regulatory compliance.

Physical Requirements

  • The ability to sit at a desk up to 80% of the time
  • The ability to stand and walk up to 20% of the time
  • The ability to be confined in a small area, such as a cubicle
  • The ability to operate phones and computers.

Hours of Work

  • Fulltime: Defined as 5 days a week for 40 hours per week. Actual working hours will be discussed with the hiring manager.
