About the Role

We are looking for a qualified CompEx Electrical Technician to join our growing technical

services team. Working both in our workshop and on client sites across the UK, you’ll be

responsible for the safe installation, maintenance, and inspection of EX-rated equipment in

hazardous areas (Zones 0, 1, and 2)

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems in hazardous environments
• Install and commission ATEX-compliant electrical equipment
• Complete inspection reports and certification documentation to a high standard
• Support mobilisation of rental equipment for hazardous area use
• Adhere to DSEAR, ATEX regulations, and internal safety protocols

Requirements

• Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
• Valid CompEx Ex01–Ex04 certification
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in hazardous environments (e.g., oil & gas, petrochemical,
• industrial)
• Strong understanding of cable glanding, terminations, and ATEX compliance
• Full UK driving licence
• Willing and able to travel to client sites across the UK

Details: Hours - Mon- Thurs 8am - 4:40pm & Friday 8am - 3 pm

A company vehicle and fuel card provided, OT available, Health care plan and a divisional bonus scheme

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £45,000.00 per year
