The Role: Complex Care Support Worker.

Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour increasing to £14.50 once signed off competent

Location: S75 Barnsley

Shift Pattern: 12-hour shifts – times to be confirmed

Please note, we provide 24 hours around the clock care so they will mainly include 12-hour shifts and will include days, waking nights and alternative weekends.

Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the below contracts:

Full time – 36 hours

DBS: An up-to-date DBS check is required (we can apply on your behalf if you don’t already have one).

Driver with access to a vehicle: Preferred.

Right to Work: The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

• It's important to note that we recruit with a person-centred approach, meaning successful candidates will primarily work on one of our packages based in a single location. However, there is also the potential to work across various packages within the area.

The People in Barnsley:

• Providing compassionate care to a gentleman with a spinal cord injury. You will provide support across these areas: bowel care, autonomic dysreflexia prevention and treatment, pressure care, full moving and handling. You will also support this gentleman with doing the things he likes, for example to be able to go Fishing, travelling, clubbing and promoting his independence.

Training:

· At Josh's Care Company, we are dedicated to equipping you with the skills and knowledge necessary to become compliant in all areas of specialised care, from tracheostomy and ventilator management to postural and respiratory care, as well as PEG feeding.

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of complex care being an added advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our people’s quality of life.
