The Role: Complex Care Support Worker.

Hourly Rate: £14.00 per hour, increasing to £14.50 once signed off competent

Location: Chesterfield S42

Shift Pattern: Part Time 12 hours

3x4 hour shifts between 9am-5pm per week (hours to be confirmed)

Contract Type: Permanent with immediate start available. We offer the below contracts:

DBS: An up-to-date DBS check is required (we can apply on your behalf if you don’t already have one).

Driver with access to a vehicle: Essential.

Right to Work: The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.

About the Young Person – Based in Chesterfield

  • You’ll be supporting a lady in her 70’s, helping with daily tasks, companionship and support attending appointments.

Full support is required with:

- Appointments

- Housework

- Daily Tasks

- Companionship

Training:

  • Our nurses have a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of nursing and care which will ensure that you receive the highest standard of training and support possible.

We are seeking highly motivated professionals with a caring demeanour, excellent communication skills, and previous care experience, with knowledge of complex care being an added advantage. A positive attitude and friendly nature are essential attributes for this role, as you will be providing meaningful support and encouragement to enhance our people’s quality of life.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous care experience, especially with physical support needs.
  • Knowledge or understanding of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (Type 2) is ideal, but not essential – the most important thing is a willingness to learn.
  • A driving license (Essential).
  • A current DBS if possible (paper or update service).
