POSITION TITLE: Complex Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION: The role of the Complex Manager is to oversee all operations within the poultry facility and its surrounding environment.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: (non-exclusive list)

• Responsible for quality control, layer production, shell egg processing, and or breaking / further egg processing.

• Responsible for planning, organizing, and regulating complex production and maintenance operations to guarantee an effective return on capital.

• Responsible for adequately staffing all areas.

• Responsible for overseeing and reviewing all employee evaluation, raise, and promotion considerations.

• Ensure complaints of employees are immediately handled accordingly to Farms, State, and Federal Policies.

• Responsible for training, selecting, and motivating plant supervisory and administrative staff to effectively use manpower and enhance human resource utilization within every department.

• Responsible to ensure compliance with customers, Farms, Industry, State, and Federal policies, programs, and regulations.

• Responsible for effectively managing expenditure control, budgeting, and ensuring accurate inventory of all operation supplies and parts.

• Implements strategies and actions for the accomplishment of plant production goals.

• Utilize manpower, facilities, equipment, materials, and assets to ensure minimal errors and prevent inefficiencies.

• Initiates, plans, and strives to meet business objectives and production goals while maintaining quality product standards.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Must possess the ability to work in an agricultural environment, indoors, outdoors, office, warehouse, processing, and farm production areas each varying in temperature, odor, and other environment-specific atmospheres.
