Job Purpose:
To support the Compliance function in ensuring the institution adheres to all Capital Market Authority (CMA) regulations and internal policies. This role is ideal for a developing professional who will assist in monitoring, advising, and implementing compliance controls across the business, gaining valuable experience in the Saudi capital market.
Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Monitoring & Support:

Assist in tracking and analyzing new and amended regulations issued by the CMA, SAMA, and Tadawul.

Help ensure that business activities and client communications align with the
CMA's Rules on Securities Business

Compliance Monitoring & Testing:
-
Conduct routine compliance monitoring and surveillance activities under the guidance of the Head of Compliance.

Assist in reviewing marketing materials, client agreements, and trade transactions for compliance with regulations.

Help monitor for potential market abuse and insider trading by running surveillance reports and escalating anomalies.
Policy & Procedure Implementation:

Assist in the maintenance and updating of the compliance manual and related policies.

Help implement compliance controls and ensure they are being followed by the business units.

Support the management of the Conflicts of Interest register.
Reporting & Administration:

Assist in the preparation of standard regulatory reports and filings for the CMA.

Help maintain accurate and organized compliance records, including training logs, breach registers, and monitoring reports.

Support the preparation of compliance reports for management.
AML/CFT Support:

Work closely with the AML team to conduct client due diligence and screening.

Assist in the monitoring and reporting of suspicious transactions as per Saudi AML/CFT regulations.
Training & Awareness:

Assist in developing and delivering basic compliance training sessions to staff.

Help promote a culture of compliance within the organization.
Qualifications & Experience
Must-Have:

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field.

Certifications:
Highly Desired:
Progress toward or willingness to obtain the
CMA Certification (CME-1)
&
(CME-2)

Experience:
-
2 to 5 years of experience in a compliance, risk, or audit role within a financial institution.

Essential:
Exposure to the Saudi capital market and a foundational understanding of CMA regulations.

Experience in a brokerage, asset management, or investment bank is preferred.
