Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Compliance & Security Officer to lead and manage the Bank’s regulatory compliance and security programs. This role is responsible for ensuring adherence to all applicable banking regulations while safeguarding the organization’s operations and information systems.
The ideal candidate brings strong knowledge of banking compliance (BSA, OFAC, CIP, etc.), leadership experience, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage the Bank’s Compliance Program
- Ensure compliance with BSA, USA PATRIOT Act, OFAC, CIP, and Customer Due Diligence requirements
- Conduct quality control reviews and internal audits to maintain regulatory standards
- Stay current on evolving banking laws and regulations
- Oversee compliance across lending, operations, and administrative functions
- Review and verify APY/APR calculations for accuracy in systems and disclosures
- Prepare reports and present findings to Senior Management and auditors
- Lead, train, and support staff on compliance-related policies and procedures
- Manage special projects and support continuous improvement efforts
- Promote a respectful, inclusive, and compliant workplace environment
- Supervise daily department operations, including delegating tasks, managing schedules, and ensuring team productivity, and conduct performance evaluations
- Provide ongoing training, guidance, and development for team members
Skills & Knowledge
- In-depth knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements
- Understanding of lending, operations, and financial institution practices
- Experience with audits, risk assessments, and regulatory reviews
- Working knowledge of accounting, payroll, and budgeting processes
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and mentor staff
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
- Ability to interpret regulations, policies, and financial data
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and banking systems

Pay: $75,897.97 - $102,462.25 per year
