Pay Rate: $19.00 an hour
SUMMARY: Maintain time sensitive, confidential information of guest and IRS documentation. Reconcile assigned compliance, revenue, and cost center paperwork. Responsible for a high level of guest service as described in your departments guest service standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Examine, prepare and maintain time sensitive, confidential documents required for filings
- Communicate internal control problems to management
- Audit and create daily MTL’s, TML’s, W2G, CTRCand file SARC, for Bank Secrecy Act, Title 31
- Utilize all available information to track and report errors and unusual activity or transactions
- Communicate exceptions to gaming departments and log for quarterly CTR meetings
- Prepare tax request for guests and other agencies
- Review daily and monthly audits on taxable jackpots and withholding
- Facilitate external reviews by outside governmental agencies
- Assist in record retention and destruction
KNOWLEDGE AND CERTIFICATION, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Knowledge and Certification
Required:
- 2 year degree in Accounting; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
Preferred:
- Previous casino and Title 31 experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to sit for long periods of time with occasional amounts of walking and standing

- Must be able to push, pull and grasp objects routinely
- Must have the ability to independently lift 25+ pounds
- Must be able to perform repetitive hand and wrist motions

WORKING ENVIRONMENT
- Work is performed in the administration building but may include going onto the gaming floor, which includes flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule including all shifts, weekends and holidays
- Extensive computer use
- Occasionally overtime may be required
- Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals
- Occasional work outside that can include extreme temperatures
