Position: Compliance Lead – Data Center Projects
Location: Mumbai ONLY (Candidates must be currently based in Mumbai or willing to relocate immediately)
Experience: 8 – 12 Years
CTC: Up to 20 LPA (All Inclusive)
Notice Period: Maximum 45 Days ONLY (Strictly)
Role Overview
The Compliance Lead will be responsible for end-to-end statutory, regulatory, and labour law compliance across multiple project sites for large-scale Data Center / EPC / Construction / Real Estate projects.
This is a core labour law compliance role, not an HR generalist position.
Key Responsibilities Statutory & Labour Law Compliance
- Manage end-to-end compliance under Central & State Labour Laws
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act – CLRA
- Factories Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- PF / EPF, ESIC
- Bonus, Gratuity & Shops & Establishment Act
- Ensure 100% statutory adherence across project sites
Multi-Site & Project Compliance
- Handle compliance for multiple construction / EPC / data center project sites
- Monitor contractor & vendor labour law compliance
- Registration, renewal & filing of all statutory licenses and returns
Government Liaison & Audits
- Liaison with Labour Department, Factory Inspector, PF, ESIC & other statutory authorities
- Independently handle:
- Statutory audits
- Labour inspections
- Notices, observations & compliance closures
Documentation, SOP & MIS
- Draft and implement:
- Compliance frameworks
- SOPs & internal control systems
- Periodic compliance MIS & dashboards
- Maintain statutory registers and records
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate with HR, Legal, Projects, Finance, EHS & Contractors
- Support legal matters related to labour law compliance
- Ensure compliance with labour welfare, safety & environmental norms
Mandatory Candidate Requirements (Please Read Carefully)
This role is strictly for candidates meeting ALL below criteria:
- Candidate must be based in Mumbai
- Core Compliance & Labour Law experience is mandatory
- Industry exposure required:
EPC / Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate / Data Center
- Must have managed multiple project sites
- Experience: 8–12 years in statutory & labour law compliance
- Notice Period: Maximum 45 Days ONLY
HR Generalist or profiles without core labour law exposure will NOT be considered
Education
- Preferred: Post Graduate
- Mandatory / Strong Advantage:
- Law Degree (LLB / LLM)
- Labour Studies / Industrial Relations background
