Compliance Officer

*About the Role:*

We are a UK-based recruitment agency seeking a detail-oriented and proactive *Compliance Officer* to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all candidates, including Nurses and Health Care Assistants, meet the compliance requirements set by UK government protocols and regulatory bodies.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Manage and maintain a database of candidates, ensuring compliance with UK standards.

* Obtain, verify, and process candidate documents.

* Conduct essential compliance checks such as DBS checks, Right to Work, NMC registrations, and Fitness to Work.

* Coordinate and book candidates for mandatory and relevant training.

* Request, review, and verify professional references.

* Ensure compliance processes are followed to the highest standards, supporting smooth onboarding for candidates.

*Requirements:*

* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

* Ability to manage multiple candidates and documentation simultaneously.

* Proficiency in English (written and spoken).

* Prior experience in compliance, recruitment, or healthcare administration is preferred but not mandatory.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
