Opportunity : We are seeking for Compliance Officer to join our Turkey & MENA teams.

Location and Reporting: This role is based in Istanbul, Turkey and will report directly to Head of Compliance Russia & Eurasia.


YOUR ROLE

As a Compliance Officer Turkey & MENA you will:

  • support implementation, training and monitoring of the Corporate Compliance procedural documents, Code of Business Conduct, Anti-Bribery program within Turkey & MENA
  • review promotional and non-promotional activities and ensure compliance with company internal procedural documents
  • support performance of third-party due diligence process in collaboration with relevant departments within Turkey & MENA, evaluate and monitor compliance risk associated with third-party
  • act as primary contact related to reporting and investigation of reported events/ incidents/ irregularities within Turkey & MENA region
  • monitor the progress of investigations within Turkey & MENA region
  • act as the point of contact for the General Managers and other key members of the management team on all ethics, compliance related issues within Turkey & MENA
  • maintain effective compliance communication including but not limited to use of the Compliance Hotline, awareness of Code of Business Conduct, understanding of new and existing compliance issued and related procedural documents
  • support the implementation of the appropriate Company Compliance auditing and monitoring plans within Turkey & MENA
  • participate actively in a Turkey & MENA and corporate compliance committee, support the development of remediation and CAPA plans
  • perform country visits within the Turkey & MENA countries as need it and relevant


YOUR PROFILE

Education

  • University degree (preferably faculty of law)
  • Certificate in Healthcare Compliance Ethics & Regulations

Previous Experience

  • Preferably 6+ years in pharmaceutical business (Accounting, Ethics & Compliance, Legal, etc.)

Language & Technical skills

  • Native language is Turkish, fluent in English

Knowledge and expertise

  • Knowledge related to anti-bribery laws and regulations, pharma laws, and being familiar with the association’s rules (e.g. EFPIA, IFPMA, MedTech) etc.

Skills and abilities

  • Strong communication
  • Interpersonal and presentation skills, as well as the capacity to lead and take initiatives reaching objectives in the most effective and efficient way
  • Ability to travel within the region
