Compliance Officer

The Role
Compliance Officer Role Overview EnergyX is seeking a detail-oriented Compliance Officer to manage day-to-day compliance operations, maintain compliance calendars, ensure timely filings, and build audit-ready documentation across corporate, employment, tax, data protection, and third-party compliance. Key Responsibilities Corporate, Regulatory & Compliance Management: • Maintain compliance calendars for registrations, renewals, corporate records, licenses, and beneficial ownership documentation to ensure regulatory requirements are up to date. • Support compliance with employment, immigration, payroll, tax, and data protection regulations while coordinating with internal teams where required. • Conduct vendor due diligence, maintain risk registers, and support AML/CFT, ethics, and conflict-of-interest processes. • Maintain compliance registers and documentation, and prepare periodic compliance reports, dashboards, and audit support materials.

Requirements
Educational Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Risk, or related field. Experience: • 4–6+ years in compliance, audit, risk, or legal operations. Preferred Qualifications: • Knowledge of Qatari laws and regulations is preferred. • Relevant certifications (CRCM, CAMS, CCEP) preferred. • Qatari nationals preferred. Key Skills: • Regulatory compliance, documentation management, risk assessment, and audit support. • Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
