Job Title: Compliance Officer (Part-Time)

About the Role
The organization is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to manage and oversee statutory and regulatory compliance across multiple domains. The ideal candidate will ensure the company’s adherence to all legal, tax, and operational obligations while supporting management in maintaining a compliant and transparent operational framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with the Companies Act and related corporate governance requirements.
- Handle statutory filings and record maintenance under Company Law.
- Manage compliance related to Income Tax, GST, and FSSAI regulations.
- Oversee registrations, renewals, and ongoing obligations under Intellectual Property laws (trademarks, copyrights, etc.).
- Administer PF, ESI, and other employee-related statutory compliances.
- Maintain and update various licenses, permits, and statutory registrations required for business operations.
- Coordinate with government departments, auditors, and consultants as needed.
- Prepare and submit compliance reports, and advise management on any regulatory changes or risks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Company Secretary (CS), Chartered Accountant (CA) with experience in corporate and statutory compliance.
- Strong understanding of applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- Excellent record-keeping and reporting skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and able to manage work independently in a part-time capacity.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in compliance, legal, or finance domains.
- Exposure to handling multi-disciplinary compliance functions will be an advantage.
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹240,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 5 per week
