Compliance & Quality Assurance Coordinator

We are searching for a dynamic, organized, and mission-driven Compliance & Quality Assurance Coordinator to help ensure our programs, transportation systems, residential homes, and operational practices consistently meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and regulatory excellence.

What You’ll Do

As the Compliance & Quality Assurance Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring New Horizons remains inspection-ready, operationally strong, and compliant with state and federal regulations. You’ll oversee transportation compliance, residential inspections, safety initiatives, audit readiness, corrective action tracking, and organizational quality assurance efforts across multiple departments.

In This Role, You Will:

  • Oversee and manage the AZDOT 5310 Grant Program
  • Coordinate vehicle inspections, maintenance schedules, registrations, and transportation compliance
  • Train staff in defensive driving, wheelchair securement, passenger safety, and transportation procedures
  • Conduct monthly inspections of residential homes and agency locations
  • Monitor AHCCCS, DES/DDD, HCBS, and OLCR compliance requirements
  • Lead audit, licensing, and inspection readiness efforts
  • Track corrective actions and ensure deficiencies are resolved timely
  • Assist with emergency preparedness and facility safety compliance
  • Conduct internal audits and provide operational feedback and training
  • Help ensure our services remain safe, effective, and mission-focused every single day

Preferred Experience:

  • Compliance, quality assurance, grant management, transportation coordination, or fleet management
  • AHCCCS, DES/DDD, HCBS, OLCR, or healthcare/social services compliance
  • Facility inspections, audits, and corrective action management
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is highly valued

Schedule & Work Environment

This position typically works Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with flexibility required based on operational and inspection needs. Frequent travel between residential homes, program sites, and agency locations is expected.

Required:

  • Minimum 21 years old
  • Valid unrestricted driver’s license
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an AZ Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Clean background check
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public administration, human services, or related field
  • 3–5 years of compliance, leadership, or quality assurance experience
