Address the major challenging issues/cases to Chief Compliance Officer/Compliance Manager.
Develop and implement Company's compliance policies and procedures.
Oversee all business operations from a compliance perspective including policies, investments, and procedures.
Design the system that deals with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvement.
Review and evaluate the new procedures, existing procedures and identify hidden risks or common issues.
Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
Perform periodic compliance reviews on company procedures and processes.
Lead the employee training and awareness sessions on legal and compliance issues.
Lead and supervise compliance team.
Advising internal management and business partners on the implementation of compliance programs.
Developing risk management strategics in relation to compliance risks.
Following up on compliance issues that require investigation.
Evaluating compliance systems and ensuring adequate software is in place.
Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
Consult with corporate attorneys as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issue.
Collaborate with human resources departments to ensure the implementation of consistent disciplinary action strategies in cases of compliance standard violations.
Oversee the compliance with the company Code of Conduct and investigate any violation of the code of conduct and other compliance policies.
Coordinate and participate in ARO Drilling Conflict of Interest & Business Conduct awareness and application.
Oversee and support ARO Drilling compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Oversee the Helpline and execute the investigation of potential fraud and abuse activities; plan and execute the investigation in accordance with accepted standards.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in law, Finance, Business Administration or Management with a minimum of 9 years of previous working experience
Experienced in Oil, Gas or Offshore Drilling sector is plus.
