Compliance, Senior Specialist

Job Description
  • Address the major challenging issues/cases to Chief Compliance Officer/Compliance Manager.
  • Develop and implement Company's compliance policies and procedures.
  • Oversee all business operations from a compliance perspective including policies, investments, and procedures.
  • Design the system that deals with violations of legal rules and internal policies.
  • Regularly assess the efficiency of control systems and recommend effective improvement.
  • Review and evaluate the new procedures, existing procedures and identify hidden risks or common issues.
  • Coordinate with different department managers to review all departmental compliance policies.
  • Perform periodic compliance reviews on company procedures and processes.
  • Lead the employee training and awareness sessions on legal and compliance issues.
  • Lead and supervise compliance team.
  • Advising internal management and business partners on the implementation of compliance programs.
  • Developing risk management strategics in relation to compliance risks.
  • Following up on compliance issues that require investigation.
  • Evaluating compliance systems and ensuring adequate software is in place.
  • Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
  • Consult with corporate attorneys as necessary to address difficult legal compliance issue.
  • Collaborate with human resources departments to ensure the implementation of consistent disciplinary action strategies in cases of compliance standard violations.
  • Oversee the compliance with the company Code of Conduct and investigate any violation of the code of conduct and other compliance policies.
  • Coordinate and participate in ARO Drilling Conflict of Interest & Business Conduct awareness and application.
  • Oversee and support ARO Drilling compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Oversee the Helpline and execute the investigation of potential fraud and abuse activities; plan and execute the investigation in accordance with accepted standards.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in law, Finance, Business Administration or Management with a minimum of 9 years of previous working experience
  • Experienced in Oil, Gas or Offshore Drilling sector is plus.
  • Experienced in Compliance

  • Strong Knowledge of industrial process and regulations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
  • An analytical mindset with excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent knowledge and background of organization's internal policies, procedures, and manuals.
