Compliance Specialist

Uludağ Enerji’s Compliance team is expanding and seeking a Compliance Specialist to support the Uludağ Enerji Compliance Program . In this role, you will bring proven experience in monitoring and evaluating governance and risk, while also developing solutions and updating policies to ensure ongoing compliance.


Key areas of focus include ethics, fraud awareness, risk management, conflicts of interest , and whistleblowing .


Reporting to the Data Protection and Compliance Manager, your responsibilities will include:


  • Ensuring the Uludağ Enerji’s Code of Ethics and other compliance policies are well understood and implemented across the organisation
  • Supporting implementation of an effective Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption (ABAC) Framework, developing presentations & reporting ABAC Framework to the management
  • Drafting, maintaining, communicating, and updating relevant process documentation (e.g. compliance policies and procedures)
  • Monitoring regulatory changes and updating compliance programs accordingly
  • Supporting the effective internal communication of compliance rules and delivering guidance, training and awareness-raising activities on compliance policies and procedures - including evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives
  • Proactively identifying compliance risks and contributing to continuous improvement of internal controls and compliance frameworks
  • Providing support in compliance investigations, and leading investigations when necessary
  • Conducting and approving compliance risk assessments for all third-parties,
  • Playing an active role in organising, categorizing, and managing Ethics Hotline applications
  • Assisting with ethics and compliance inquiries, incidents, and requests (both internally and externally), including third-party due diligence, screening, and conflict of interest management
  • Granting compliance approvals for gift, hospitality, donation and events, while maintaining appropriate records,
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Legal, HR, Internal Audit, and IT to ensure alignment of compliance practices
  • Preparing and presenting compliance reports to management


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Law, Finance, Business).
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in a compliance role
  • Demonstrated understanding of creating and sustaining a culture of integrity and compliance across the organization
  • Strong understanding of compliance best practices
  • Proven ability to report to and present findings to senior management
  • Fluent in English
  • Experience in delivering training programs
  • Excellent communication and analytical thinking skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
  • Knowledge of risk management principles
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office and other relevant analytical tools or platforms.
