Compliance Specialist

Job Purpose:

Alignment with a Head of department to assure the organization's adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Emphasizes the pragmatic and technical elements of compliance functions, creating and executing compliance programs, and guiding internal stakeholders. The objective is to reduce regulatory risk, uphold ethical standards, and cultivate a culture of compliance inside the firm

Responsibilities:

coordination with the compliance department to develop and update the compliance registers with applicable laws and regulations.

Support the compliance department to manage the compliance management system effectively and efficiently.

Support the development of compliance mitigation action plans and ensure timely measures are taken into consideration.

Provide periodic updates to the compliance department on all mitigation action plans and other compliance-related matters.

Provide full support for the compliance department in its annual assessment plan and site visits.

coordination with the compliance department and Policy and Procedures department, review and approve all policies and procedures to ensure alignment with laws and regulations.

Communicate with the compliance department in case of receiving any request from regulators before any response.

Follow up with their department’s progress on implementing action plans.

Act as a single point of contact for their department to provide complete support.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as finance, accounting, business administration, or law

Minimum One years’ professional experience in a similar role.

Familiar with statutory health and safety standards across KSA.

Demonstrable risk and Compliance management experience and skills.
