Duties

• Prepare and set up breakfast areas, ensuring all items are fresh, appealing, and well-stocked throughout service hours
• Serve guests with a friendly attitude, assisting with food selections and answering questions about menu offerings
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food preparation and serving areas in accordance with food safety regulations
• Replenish food items promptly during busy breakfast hours, including hot dishes, pastries, fruits, beverages, and condiments
• Monitor special requests from guests, accommodating them with care and professionalism
• Assist with basic food handling and preparation tasks under supervision, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of breakfast service and uphold high hospitality standards

Experience

• Previous experience in food industry environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for hospitality is key
• Customer service experience that demonstrates friendly communication and positive guest interactions
• Serving or banquet experience that highlights your ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Food preparation or catering background that showcases your understanding of food handling and safety protocols
• Knowledge of dietary accommodations or dietary aide experience is a plus for catering to diverse guest needs
• Barista experience or restaurant background that emphasizes attention to detail in food presentation and service excellence
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices within the hospitality or food service industry
