Compressor Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled and experienced AC Compressor Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of air conditioning systems, specifically diagnosing, repairing, and replacing AC compressors in residential, commercial, or automotive units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose issues with AC compressors and associated components
• Perform maintenance, repair, and replacement of AC compressors
• Inspect systems and test for functionality and safety
• Recharge systems with refrigerant and check for leaks
• Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Use appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment for efficient service
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and service reports
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an AC mechanic or technician with compressor knowledge
• Solid understanding of HVAC or automotive AC systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair various compressor types
• Familiarity with refrigerants, EPA regulations, and recovery procedures
• Valid [HVAC certification/refrigeration license] (if required in your area)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Good physical condition and the ability to work in various environments
• Valid driver’s license (if fieldwork is involved)
• Experience with commercial or industrial AC systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good customer service and communication skills
