Position: Computer Teacher
Location: BDW International School, Shillong

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons aligned with CBSE curriculum.
• Teach fundamental to advanced computer concepts including programming, coding, applications, and digital literacy.
• Foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking through technology.
• Organize practical sessions, projects, and competitions to enhance student learning.
• Maintain classroom discipline and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to integrate technology across subjects.
• Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and evaluation tools.
• Participate in school events, workshops, and faculty meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• B.Ed. preferred.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/ICSE school (freshers with strong skills may also apply).
• Strong knowledge of computer applications, programming languages, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
