Job Title: Software Faculty Location: IIFM, Guwahati, Zoo Road Tiniali Job Type: Full-Time/Part-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a knowledgeable and passionate Software Faculty to train students in various programming languages and software development concepts. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, excellent teaching skills, and the ability to simplify complex concepts for learners. Key Responsibilities: • Conduct lectures and practical sessions on programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, SQL, Web Development, and other relevant technologies. • Teach software development methodologies, database management, and system analysis, Tally.Prime. • Design and update course materials, assignments, and assessments. • Provide hands-on training in coding, debugging, and software development life cycle. • Guide students in projects, internships, and industry-based applications. • Stay updated with the latest software trends and incorporate them into teaching. • Assist in student evaluations, grading, and feedback sessions. • Support students in placement preparation, interview skills, and technical assessments. Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, SQL, and web technologies. • Experience in software development and teaching/training is preferred. • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Ability to explain complex concepts in a simple and engaging manner. Preferred Skills: • Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, or Cybersecurity, Tally.Prime is a plus. • Experience with online teaching tools, LMS platforms, and coding environments. • Passion for mentoring and guiding students toward industry success.
