Computer Operator / POS Operator – Retail Shop
Job Overview
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Computer Operator for our retail shop. The ideal candidate should have basic computer knowledge and experience operating Point of Sale (POS) software for billing, sales entry, and inventory management.
The candidate will play an important role in managing daily shop operations efficiently and maintaining accurate sales records.
Job Responsibilities
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) software for customer billing
- Generate invoices and receipts accurately
- Maintain daily sales and transaction records
- Update inventory and stock entries in the system
- Handle product and customer data management
- Prepare daily and monthly sales reports
- Coordinate with shop staff for smooth operations
- Ensure proper handling of cash and billing activities
- Perform basic computer troubleshooting when required
Requirements
- Basic computer operating skills
- Experience with POS or billing software preferred
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word
- Good typing speed and data entry accuracy
- Strong attention to detail
- Honest, punctual, and professional attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Education & Experience
- Intermediate, DAE, or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Previous experience in a retail shop or cashier role is an advantage
