Computer Operator (Data Entry)

A Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in company databases and computer systems. The role requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy to ensure data integrity and smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter, update, and verify data in computer systems and databases
  • Review data for errors or inconsistencies and correct them
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Organize and maintain digital and physical files
  • Generate reports as required
  • Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation
  • Respond to data inquiries and provide requested information
  • Scan and upload documents
  • Maintain data entry requirements by following company policies and procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate/Bachelor’s degree is a plus)
  • Proven experience as a data entry operator or similar role
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel, Word)
  • Familiarity with data entry software and databases
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Basic knowledge of office equipment (scanner, printer, etc.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
