Computer Repair Technician / quality control assurance auditor for laptops & desktops

Avenue Computers is currently looking for an Electronics Repair Technician! If you like working with computers and technology, this is the place to be! Our warehouse is located in Romulus just north of I-94 on Middlebelt rd.

Our company sells thousands of quality refurbished computers, parts, and electronic equipment on multiple e-commerce platforms.

This role is an essential in which you will do minor repairs on laptops and desktops so they will boot to bios so we can document their specifications and cosmetic condition

Job Description:

• Power and test laptops & desktops
• Note specs and condition in company software
• Document the condition of the device in company software
• Remove ram, drives, cards, and batteries from devices
• Perform minor repairs as needed so the device will boot to bios
• Fill in other departments as needed

Job Requirements:

• Previous experience as a repair technician or similar role
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Exceptional organizing and time-management skills
• Multitasking and keep track of multiple devices at once is a must
• Attention to detail and the ability to do repetitive tasks
• Familiarity with Google Suite ( Such as sheets/doc/email etc)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that is very fluid
• Any additional relevant diploma or certification will be considered an advantage
• Must be able to process units in volume while maintaining accuracy
