Job Summary:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Computer Science Teacher for high school students (Classes 6 to 10) following the CBSE curriculum. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science concepts, programming languages, and educational technologies, and must be capable of inspiring students to develop their coding, problem-solving, and computational thinking skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science (Code 083) and Information Technology (Code 802) as per the CBSE curriculum for Grades 6–10.
• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons that meet CBSE standards and school goals.
• Teach programming languages such as Python, and software tools such as SQL, HTML, CSS, Cyber Security, Scratch, or other relevant tools.
• Integrate digital tools and learning platforms to enhance classroom instruction.
• Prepare lesson plans, unit plans, and maintain academic records.
• Create and grade assessments, projects, assignments, and conduct practical examinations as required by CBSE norms.
• Monitor and evaluate individual student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Guide students in developing computer-based projects and preparing for board examinations.
• Participate in school-wide activities, staff meetings, and professional development sessions.
• Stay updated with CBSE guidelines and incorporate any changes into the curriculum.
• Maintain discipline and a positive learning environment in the classroom.
• Assist in school events like exhibitions, competitions, or coding clubs as needed.

Qualifications :Educational:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Engineering.
• B.Ed. (mandatory as per CBSE norms).
• Master’s degree (preferred but not mandatory).

Experience:

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience teaching Computer Science at the high school level in a CBSE-affiliated school.
• Experience in preparing students for CBSE board exams is a strong advantage.

Skills:

• Proficient in Python, SQL, HTML/CSS, and other programming tools relevant to CBSE curriculum.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Ability to use EdTech tools like Google Classroom, Zoom, MS Teams, or other LMS platforms.
• Passion for teaching and ability to engage adolescent learners.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
