Computer Science Teacher – Job Description

Location: RVK School, Tirupainjailee, Mannachanallur
Employment Type: Full-time

Role Overview:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Computer Science Teacher to educate Primary and Secondary students in programming, digital literacy, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate should be proficient in teaching coding, computational thinking, and IT fundamentals while fostering creativity and problem-solving skills among students.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Computer Science concepts, including programming, algorithms, database management, and networking.
• Develop engaging lesson plans that encourage logical thinking and problem-solving.
• Introduce students to modern technologies, coding languages, and software applications.
• Conduct practical sessions in the computer lab to enhance hands-on learning.
• Organize and guide students in coding competitions, IT clubs, and project-based learning activities.
• Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, and exams.
• Ensure the proper maintenance and security of computer lab equipment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• B.Ed. certification preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in Computer Science.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or Scratch (for younger students).
• Strong understanding of digital tools, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
