Position Overview
Kids Club International School, Tiruppur, is seeking a skilled and dynamic Computer Science Teacher to teach Classes VI–X under the International curriculum. The teacher should have strong knowledge of programming, computational thinking, and digital literacy, along with experience in activity-based, project-oriented learning.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching & Learning
- Teach Computer Science / IT subjects for Classes VI–X aligned with international curriculum standards (Cambridge/IB/IGCSE/Global).
- Cover topics such as basic programming, algorithms, data structures, databases, networks, digital literacy, and cybersecurity.
- Develop lesson plans that include hands-on coding exercises, simulations, multimedia projects, and problem-solving tasks.
- Encourage computational thinking, logical reasoning, and creativity.
Practical & Project Work
- Conduct practical computer labs and programming sessions.
- Guide students on project-based learning and individual assignments.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of computer lab equipment and software.
- Promote safe and ethical use of technology.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Prepare formative and summative assessments as per international curriculum.
- Evaluate coding assignments, projects, and practical work accurately.
- Maintain academic records and provide constructive feedback.
- Prepare students for international-style exams, assessments, and competitions.
Classroom & Student Management
- Maintain a disciplined, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
- Provide additional support to students struggling with programming or IT concepts.
- Promote teamwork, collaboration, and independent learning.
Curriculum & Academic Contribution
- Participate in curriculum development, integration of STEM activities, and enhancement of digital learning programs.
- Organize coding clubs, competitions, hackathons, and technology fairs.
- Keep students updated with emerging technologies and trends.
School Responsibilities
- Attend staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school workshops.
- Participate in co-curricular activities, school events, and technology-related exhibitions.
- Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology across subjects.
Qualifications & Skills
- B.Tech / B.Sc / M.Sc in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
- B.Ed preferred but not mandatory if candidate has strong subject expertise.
- Experience teaching international curricula (Cambridge/IB/IGCSE) is an advantage.
- Proficiency in programming languages (Python, Java, C++, etc.), computational thinking, and digital tools.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
