Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Maintenance & Repair
- Diagnosing and fixing issues with desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Replacing faulty components like RAM, hard drives, motherboards, and power supplies
- Assembling and disassembling computers for repairs
- Software Troubleshooting
- Installing, updating, and configuring operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Troubleshooting software issues, crashes, and application errors
- Removing malware, viruses, and fixing security vulnerabilities
- Networking & Connectivity
- Setting up and maintaining LAN, Wi-Fi, and internet connections
- Configuring routers, modems, and network security settings
- Troubleshooting network-related issues
- Customer Support & Technical Assistance
- Assisting clients with technical issues via phone, email, or in person
- Providing guidance on best practices for system maintenance
- Training users on new software or hardware installations
- Data Management & Backup
- Recovering lost data from hard drives and storage devices
- Setting up automated backup solutions and cloud storage
- Ensuring data security and protection against loss
- System Upgrades & Installations
- Recommending and installing hardware/software upgrades
- Setting up new systems for offices, businesses, or individuals
- Ensuring compatibility and optimal performance
