The Computer Support Analyst II supports the district's Information Technology team by coordinating and performing a full range of services including support and installation. Work with end users by maintaining hardware and software systems, managing mobile and endpoint devices, and administering device management and asset tracking platforms.
What You'll Do

Provide end-user support for Microsoft Office 365 and a variety of third-party applications.

Support District hardware including laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, and mobile devices such as iPads and iPhones.

Image, configure, deploy, and manage computers and mobile devices using Microsoft Intune.

Administer and maintain the Microsoft Intune environment, including asset inventory and patch management tools.

Maintain accurate hardware and software inventory records using Intune and Kaseya VSAX RMM.

Monitor, respond to, and resolve issues within the district's helpdesk environment.

Deliver new employee IT orientation and training on Microsoft Office and supported applications.

Research, recommend, and assist with implementing innovative or automated solutions to improve computing tasks.

Coordinate computer and software purchases, including evaluating requirements, compatibility, pricing, and tracking deliveries.

Act as a liaison with third-party vendors for equipment maintenance, repairs, and support services.

Participate in an on-call rotation to support District technology needs.

Promote safe work practices, maintain an organized work environment, and provide excellent internal customer service.

Perform other related duties as assigned.
What You'll Need

Must be 18 years of age or older at the time of hire.

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field required; 1 – 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Valid Driver's License in good standing.

Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) preferred.

Microsoft Intune Specialist (MIS) preferred.

Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite.

Knowledge of Windows 11 and above.

Knowledge of Adobe products and mobile/tablet devices.

Skills in exercising independent judgment and critical thinking.

Experience in software and hardware troubleshooting.

Skills in providing excellent customer service.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.

Demonstrated success in establishing and maintaining productive working relationships.

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

Monday-Friday | Regular hours are 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.

Starting salary: $51,314 – 57,782 per year.

Work Setting

Based out of the headquarters facility in Wheaton, IL. Also requires visits to various Forest Preserve locations and work sites throughout DuPage County.
