Responsibilities
- Analyse and evaluate current IT systems and infrastructure to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Design, develop, and implement new systems and processes to enhance operational efficiency and security.
- Provide comprehensive technical support to our team for all hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage network security, data backups, and disaster recovery protocols to ensure business continuity.
- Collaborate with different departments, including design and production, to understand their specific technological needs and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
- Oversee IT projects from the initial planning stages through to successful implementation and review.
- Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and recommend innovative solutions to support company growth.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working as a Computer Systems Analyst or in a similar IT support role.
- A strong understanding of computer systems, networks, security principles, and database management.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- The ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and effectively to non-technical colleagues.
- A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Experience within a manufacturing or design-led environment would be a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is desirable.
