Computer Systems Analyst III

Summary/Scope of Work

The Computer Systems Analyst will run system checks, analyze computer data, prepare reports troubleshoot software and hardware problems. Will ensure systems are properly used to improve efficiency and productivity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Incorporate new technology into current system; advise on system upgrades
• Diagnose and repair system as needed
• Respond to end-user needs as required
• Create and draft technical requirements, specifications, and policies
• Stay up to date on latest technological innovations and trends
• Ensure proper system operation through user awareness, training, documentation, and support
• Provide leadership and supervision, directing and integrating the work of lower lever analyst.

Qualifications:

• Three (3) to five (5) years IT experience, extensive knowledge of commonly used technical systems, best practices, and emerging technological trends
• Familiar with TS-MATS, TADSS and Microsoft Office
• Ability to pass a background check, DOD Security Clearance preferred
• Associates Degree in Electronic Technology or related field. Equivalent work experience may be substituted for education requirement.
• US Citizen
• Ability to work effectively, and contribute positively, as a team member
• Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear and concise manner
• Ability to explain technical information and data.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships, professional demeanor, and attitude
