Computer Teacher

Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Computer Teacher to teach students in Grades 3–7. The ideal candidate will introduce and develop students’ digital literacy, problem-solving, and responsible technology use through engaging, age-appropriate instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver computer science and ICT lessons aligned with the school curriculum
• Teach foundational computing skills, including typing, basic coding, word processing, presentations, and internet safety
• Introduce age-appropriate programming concepts and logical thinking
• Integrate technology into classroom learning activities and projects
• Assess student progress and maintain accurate academic records
• Promote responsible and ethical use of technology
• Maintain computer lab equipment and report technical issues
• Collaborate with teachers to support technology-enhanced learning
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school events

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Education, or a related field
• Experience teaching computer studies to elementary/middle school students
• Strong knowledge of common educational software and digital tools
• Understanding of online safety and digital citizenship for children
