Roles & Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging computer science lessons for Grades 9 & 10 in alignment with CBSE curriculum guidelines.
• Teach programming concepts, networking, database management, web design, and other topics prescribed in the curriculum.
• Guide students in practical sessions, ensuring hands-on exposure to programming languages, software tools, and applications.
• Design assessments, assignments, and projects to evaluate student learning outcomes.
• Prepare students for CBSE board examinations by conducting regular tests, practice sessions, and revision classes.
• Integrate technology in teaching to enhance the learning process.
• Maintain student progress records and share feedback with parents during PTMs.
• Encourage participation in computer-related competitions, exhibitions, and coding clubs.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of computer labs, equipment, and resources.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, workshops, and training programs.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of CBSE Computer Applications/Computer Science curriculum (Grades 9 & 10).
• Proficiency in programming languages (Python/Java/C++ as per CBSE syllabus).
• Familiarity with operating systems, networking concepts, MS Office, and database management.
• Effective classroom management and student engagement techniques.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentoring skills.
• Ability to integrate ICT tools and e-learning resources in teaching.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent.
• B.Ed. (mandatory) with specialization in Computer Science / IT.
• Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in CBSE curriculum (preferred).
