Computer Teacher - Primary Grades

We are looking for an enthusiastic and tech-savvy Computer Teacher to join our Primary School faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for introducing young students (Grades 1–4) to the world of technology, ensuring they develop essential digital literacy skills in a fun, safe, and interactive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons on basic computer operations, MS Office (Word, Paint, PowerPoint), and internet safety.
• Introduction to Coding: Introduce students to logical thinking through basic block-based coding (e.g., Scratch, Code.org).
• Classroom Management: Maintain a disciplined and positive learning environment in the computer lab.
• Assessment: Monitor student progress, maintain records, and provide feedback to parents during PTMs.
• Technical Support: Ensure the computer lab equipment is handled with care and report any technical issues to the IT department.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (BCS), IT, or a related field. A teaching certification (B.Ed) is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of experience teaching primary-grade students.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of MS Office, Google Workspace, and educational software.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional patience, creativity, and the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms to children.
• Communication: Fluent in English and Urdu.
