Concierge

New luxury apartment community in Hackensack, NJ is looking for an exceptional concierge with a positive and friendly demeanor! The schedule for this position is Monday through Thursday, 5pm-9pm

Job Description:

As a Concierge, YOU are the first point of contact, welcoming residents and guests to our community in a friendly and genuine manner. YOU provide insight about our community as well as share information about the local area. As the resident liaison, YOU handle each request in a timely fashion and always follow up. YOU organize the flow of the lobby and manage the package center making sure every situation you handle ends with a smile. YOU foster a strong partnership with the leasing, maintenance, and security personnel in order to stay on top of all necessary communication. Most importantly, YOU are dedicated to developing and maintaining an on-going positive relationship with residents, and you deliver exceptional customer service with every interaction to ensure a maximum number of lease renewals.

Key Qualifications:

• Previous concierge or related customer service and/or guest services work in property management, hospitality or a related field; willing to train
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• General computer knowledge. Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and MRI a plus.

Skills:

• Self-starter: Able to identify work that needs to be done and does it without required instruction.
• Courteous and communicative: Able to interact with, assist and exceed the expectations of residents and guests with daily and special requests.
• Possess a keen sense of urgency.
• A detail-oriented Doer: Ability to solve practical problems using reasoning skills while paying close attention to the details
