Duties

• Operate concrete boom pumps with precision, ensuring accurate placement of concrete at various heights and distances on construction sites
• Coordinate with the construction crew to determine the best pumping techniques and positioning for each project phase
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on pump equipment to guarantee optimal performance and safety
• Assist with setup and breakdown of pump systems, including connecting hoses, stabilizing outriggers, and securing equipment
• Monitor concrete flow rates and pressure levels during operation to prevent blockages or malfunctions
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress, safety concerns, and operational updates
• Maintain detailed logs of daily operations, inspections, and maintenance activities for compliance purposes

Requirements

• Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as concrete boom pumps, excavators, loaders, or dump trucks on construction sites
• Strong mechanical knowledge of pump systems, hydraulic functions, and related machinery
• Familiarity with concrete mixer operations, paving techniques, rebar installation, and concrete finishing processes
• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for operating commercial vehicles safely
• Knowledge of construction site safety protocols and ability to adhere to OSHA standards
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working in outdoor environments
• Prior experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, or working with concrete pumping systems is highly desirable

Pay: $35.00 - $38.00 per hour
