Concrete / Civil Foreman (Traveling) – Sitework / Concrete / Excavation (*This position is typically over-the-road for about 4 nights at a time, M - F.)

$28 starting rate (will pay more based on experience) + Paid Travel + Company Truck

VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE REQUIRE (clean driving record)

As the Civil Foreman (Lead) at Hiltz Propane Systems, you will lead and manages on-site workers, subcontractors and equipment during tank sets and construction projects; with the majority of day-to-day responsibilities focusing on the pre-installation process of each job site prior to tank setting such as concrete, site work, cranes & rigging, and painting.

Must Haves:

• Valid Drivers License (minimum age requirement by auto insurance is 23)
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record
• Willing to travel M-F
• Must comply with the company’s drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Must be physically able to repetitively lift and carry at least 75 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Civil Construction Experience (Grading Experience, Concrete Forming/Finishing, Excavating, etc.)

Responsibilities/Requirements - Out of town travel is required. This position is typically over-the-road for about 4 nights at a time, M - F.

• Lead and direct people, equipment and resources in the construction and installation of bulk propane plant storage systems and related components.
• Verify all parts and/or equipment are on hand for project.
• Read and interpret project plans and specifications.
• Organize and coordinate the daily activities of all crew members, subcontractors, equipment and utilize corrective action to keep the project on time and on budget. Plan work in an efficient and effective order, maximizing progress in a safe and timely manner.

Safety-Sensitive

This is a safety-sensitive position. The Civil Crew operates heavy equipment, drives company vehicles, performs work in confined spaces, works at heights, conducts abrasive blasting, painting (pre-installation and post-installation painting) and works in environments containing dust and fumes which require use of Personal Protective Equipment.
