Concrete Finisher

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete finishing and construction, with the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on time.

Duties

• Prepare and finish concrete surfaces, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
• Operate concrete mixers and other power tools as necessary.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications.
• Install rebar and perform concrete forming tasks as required.
• Utilize hand tools for various finishing techniques, including caulking and plastering.
• Assist in heavy lifting and moving materials on the construction site.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the project duration.
• Participate in renovation, restoration, and hardscape projects as needed.

Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and experience:

• Mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment and tools.
• Proficiency in construction estimating and blueprint reading.
• Experience with concrete finishing techniques, including flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry work.
• Familiarity with heavy equipment operation, including concrete pumping machinery.
• Background in carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, and welding is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the workday.

Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
