Concrete Finisher/Laborer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Laborer/Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, including finishing techniques and the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results on various projects. We are a commercial concrete company looking to expand our field team and would like you to join us!!!

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for concrete pouring by ensuring they are clean and free of debris.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete according to specifications.
• Finish surfaces using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired texture and appearance.
• Install concrete forms and frames as needed for various projects.
• Restore and repair existing concrete structures as required.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
• Perform hardscape installations, including patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or in a similar role.
• Able to operate a skid loader and excavator.
• Familiarity with flooring installation processes is a plus.
• Strong skills in frame carpentry and installation of concrete forms.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work well within a team environment and take direction from superiors.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
