Concrete Foreman

Position Summary
The Concrete Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all concrete works on site, including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, finishing, and curing activities. The role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily concrete operations, including foundations, slabs, columns, beams, and other structural elements.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Review drawings and specifications to plan manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.
  • Ensure proper installation of formwork, reinforcement, embeds, and concrete placement.
  • Monitor concrete quality, slump, temperature, and curing procedures.
  • Enforce site safety rules and conduct toolbox talks for the crew.
  • Maintain daily progress reports and manpower records.
  • Identify and resolve site issues to avoid delays and rework.
  • Ensure housekeeping and proper use of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or relevant technical certification in Civil/Construction (preferred).
  • Minimum [5–10] years of experience in concrete works, with at least [2–3] years as a foreman.
  • Strong knowledge of formwork systems, rebar works, and concrete finishing.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
  • Good leadership and communication skills.
