We’re looking for an experienced Concrete Foundation Foreman to lead a crew and deliver high-quality foundation work from start to finish. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to the success of every project. If you know how to read prints, plan ahead, and run a crew that gets the job done right, we want to talk.
What You’ll Do
Come prepared.
Review structural, civil, and architectural drawings before arriving on site. Understand the scope, anticipate challenges, and show up with a clear plan.
Lead the field team.
- Conduct AM/PM huddles to align on daily goals
- Assign tasks and manage workflow
- Train new team members and support ongoing development
- Motivate the crew to maintain strong production and morale
Deliver quality work.
- Confirm benchmarks, grades, and layout upon arrival
- Coordinate digs, forms, pumps, and pours
- Manage rebar, chairs, ties, bricks, and other materials
- Ensure all work meets project specs and company standards
Keep projects on track.
- Monitor progress to stay on schedule and within budget
- Communicate jobsite needs (materials, staffing, equipment) with Division Leads
- Coordinate with site contractors, boom truck drivers, and site coordinators
- Document progress and updates in Procore (photos, reports, etc.)
Maintain safety and organization.
- Enforce company safety standards
- Maintain truck, tools, and equipment
- Confirm materials and equipment upon delivery
- Ensure daily site cleanliness and good housekeeping
Problem solve in real time.
Address challenges as they arise and implement practical solutions to keep work moving forward.
Qualifications & Skills
- Extensive experience in concrete foundation construction
- Proven leadership experience supervising field crews
- Strong blueprint reading skills (structural, civil, architectural)
- Solid understanding of formwork, layout, and concrete practices
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Commitment to safety and compliance
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational/technical training or a background in construction management is a plus.
Relevant certifications are advantageous.
