Concrete Laboratory engineer - Construction Materials Engineering

Work Location: Benghazi

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to lead our Construction Materials Laboratory. In this role, you will be responsible for the overall management, technical oversight, and quality assurance of all lab operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and perform advanced materials testing including concrete mix design, compressive strength (cube/cylinder), soil classification, and raw material analysis.
• Oversee laboratory accreditation and ensure compliance with ASTM, AASHTO, and other relevant standards.
• Lead, train, and mentor a team of lab technicians.
• Analyze test data, prepare detailed reports, and provide technical recommendations to project teams.
• Manage laboratory equipment calibration, maintenance, and inventory.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of hands-on experience in a construction materials testing laboratory.
