We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing to create durable and smooth surfaces.
- Set up and dismantle formwork for concrete structures using carpentry skills and hand tools.
- Install rebar reinforcement according to blueprints and schematics, ensuring structural integrity.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely for tasks like concrete pumping and site preparation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to execute project specifications accurately.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as bags of cement, rebar, and form panels while maintaining safety standards.
- Support masonry, stucco, tile laying, flooring installation, and other related trades as needed on-site.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, restoration efforts, or new construction sites to meet project deadlines.
- Use hand tools such as trowels, hammers, levels, and caulking guns for precise finishing work.
- Assist in the operation of heavy machinery like mixers or forklifts when certified or trained accordingly.
- Follow all safety guidelines related to construction site operations, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications
- Prior experience working on construction sites with concrete or related trades is preferred but not required; training will be provided for eager learners.
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for operating equipment and troubleshooting issues on-site.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with clarity and confidence.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation enhances productivity and safety.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and performing physically demanding tasks are essential.
- Knowledge of masonry techniques such as rebar installation, framing, metal stud framing, plastering, stucco application, or roofing is a plus.
- Experience with concrete finishing techniques including smoothing, troweling, or stamping is desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with commercial driving certification preferred; ability to operate forklifts or other machinery is a bonus.

Pay: $22.15 - $28.00 per hour
