Duties

• Assist with the preparation of construction sites by setting up forms, rebar installation, and ensuring proper layout according to blueprints and schematics
• Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently during concrete pouring and finishing processes
• Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing surfaces, applying textures, and sealing joints to meet project specifications
• Handle heavy lifting of materials like rebar, formwork components, and concrete bags to support efficient workflow
• Read blueprints and schematics accurately to follow project plans for framing, masonry, or restoration work
• Support installation of metal stud framing, drywall, stucco, tile laying, flooring, or other finishing elements as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by inspecting tools and equipment regularly and adhering to safety protocols

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge for operating power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, and heavy machinery confidently
• Construction estimating skills to understand project scope and material needs effectively
• Expertise in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and masonry work
• Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematics for precise execution of construction plans
• Experience with heavy equipment operation including forklifts or cranes is a plus
• Knowledge of carpentry disciplines such as trim carpentry or framing enhances versatility on-site
• Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights or confined spaces
