KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Safely operate mixer truck to deliver concrete
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Communicate with dispatch and customers
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks
• Maintain accurate delivery and load documentation
• Maintain cleanliness of mixer truck throughout and before end of shift
• Assist in plant/yard maintenance and housekeeping duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Be 18 Years old
• Possess a valid commercial driver’s license and DOT medical card. (CDL A or B)
• Mixer experience is a plus — but not required. We value candidates who bring a passion for learning and a strong work ethic to the team.
• Safety-first mindset and dependable work ethic
• Must be able to take orders, instructions, and guidance from supervisors and management.
• Be able to work overtime, beyond 5:00pm, and Saturdays as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to a significant degree.
• Exerting up to 100 lbs. of force frequently.
• Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to, pushing, turning, and/or pulling of controls.
• Must pass DOT physical, hearing test and random drug screening.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to safely lift a minimum of 75 lbs.
• Ability to climb, stoop, bend, squat, lift, stretch, push, pull, twist, kneel, stand, walk, sit, and reach.
• Ability to safely climb up and down stairs and/or ladders.
• Ability to work primarily outside, with possible exposure to the extremes of hot or cold weather.
