All Inclusive Ready-Mix Hauler Driver

No experience starts at $20/hr + Up to $26/hr - Negotiable based on experience.

SUMMARY

Transport and deliver Concrete materials, to customers during daylight and/or night time hours by applying knowledge of commercial driving regulations and skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Drives truck to location for loading and unloading during daylight and/or night-time hours
• Moves levers and operates controls to release concrete material from mixer.
• Cleans dump body at end of day or when required.
• Performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer.
• Assists in yard functions when needed.
• Maintains high level of customer service.
• Keeps proper records and documents daily activities neatly and legibly.
• Monitors truck and other company equipment to ensure appearance, safety and proper maintenance levels.
• Performs all duties assigned by management.
• Promptly report any delays due to break downs, weather, traffic conditions or other emergencies.
• Report all accidents and incidents involving company driver(s) or equipment immediately to management.
• Trains new employees when needed on the safe operation of equipment.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

General education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructors, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

MATHMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide. Ability to perform these operations using units of U.S. currency, weights and measures.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES AND REGISTRATIONS

Possession of a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a doubles/triples endorsement, tankers and air brakes endorsement.

• Ability to climb up and down ladders
• Ability to climb in and out of a commercial truck
• Ability to walk on uneven ground
• Ability to lift and carry various objects, including but not limited to weight in excess of 50 lbs.
• Ability to push, pull, kneel, squat, bend, twist, reach and sit for long periods of time.
